Increasing the use of wood fibre in Construction
This group meets intermittently to lead on work that will ultimately lead to an increase use of wood fibre in construction with the aim to:
In recent years the group have focussed on how wood can contribute to Net Zero Carbon Homes (attached paper), integrating timber into construction supply chains and commercialising the manufacture of homegrown cross laminated timber in Scotland.
The current chair of this working group is Sam Hart.
